A cyclic voltammogramm for Pt(10 2 1) recorded in \(0.1 \; \mathrm{M}\) \(\ce{ HClO4 }\) at a scan rate of \(50 \; \mathrm{mV\,s^{-1}}\) from Figure 4b1 in K. Abe et al. * Annealed in hydrogen/oxygen flame
* subsequently cooled in air down to 473 K
* protected with water
* immediately transferred into the electrochemical cell.
