echemdb identifier: beden_1985_voltammetric_822_f2b_solid
tags: BCV

A cyclic voltammogramm for Ni(110) recorded in \(0.1 \; \mathrm{M}\) \(\ce{ NaOH }\) at a scan rate of \(50 \; \mathrm{mV\,s^{-1}}\) from Figure 2b in B. Beden et al. A voltammetric study of the formation on hydroxides and oxyhydroxides on nickel single crystal electrodes in contact with an alkaline solution. Surface Science, 162\(1\-3\):822–829, 1985.

Further information

The figure shows digitized data.

The Ni(110) electrode was prepared by:

  • Oriented surface polished with fine alumina down to 0.05 µm.
  • Rinsed with ultrapure water and transfered protected by a water droplet.

Comment left by the curator on the published figure End of the measurement was unclear. First CV ist cut off at currents below -0.4 mA / cm2. .
