A cyclic voltammogramm for Cu(111) recorded in \(0.005 \; \mathrm{M}\) \(\ce{ H2SO4 }\) at a scan rate of \(10 \; \mathrm{mV\,s^{-1}}\) from Figure 1 in P. Broekmann et al. In-situ STM investigation of specific anion adsorption on Cu\(111\). Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, 467\(1\-2\):307–324, 1999.
Further information
The figure shows digitized data.
The Cu(111) electrode was prepared by:
- Made out of single crystal rod.
- Oriented with Laue backscattering.
- Polished mechanically with diamond paste with different grain sizes down to 25 μm.
- Electropolished to remove copper oxide (details see https://doi.org/10.1016/S0022-0728(99)00463-5).
- Polishing of the bead to achieve the desired surface orientation.
- Inductive annealed for 6h at 900 °C in 5N argon.
- 15 min inductive annealing before each measurement.
- details see https://doi.org/10.1016/j.electacta.2006.11.048.
