A cyclic voltammogramm for Cu(100) recorded in \(1 \; \mathrm{M}\) \(\ce{ NaOH }\) at a scan rate of \(20 \; \mathrm{mV\,s^{-1}}\) from Figure 3 in J. M. Droog et al. Oxygen electrosorption on copper single crystal electrodes in sodium hydroxide solution. Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, 112\(2\):387–390, 1980
Further information
The figure shows digitized data.
The Cu(100) electrode was prepared by:
- Electrode surfaces were ground with carborundum paper and polished with diamond paste.
- Cleaned carefully after each process.
- Electropolished at 0 °C in a solution of 2 parts methanol and 1 part HNO3 (65%), following Kötz and Lewerenz.
- Details see https://doi.org/10.1016/S0022-0728(79)80245-4 and https://doi.org/10.1016/S0022-0728(80)80075-1.
