A cyclic voltammogramm for Pt(111) recorded in \(0.1 \; \mathrm{M}\) \(\ce{ HClO4 }\) at a scan rate of \(50 \; \mathrm{mV\,s^{-1}}\) from Figure 2 in A. M. Gómez-Marín et al. Pt\(111\) surface disorder kinetics in perchloric acid solutions and the influence of specific anion adsorption. Electrochimica acta, 82:558–569, 2012.
Further information
The figure shows digitized data.
The Pt(111) electrode was prepared by:
* Flame annealed.
* Cooled in a hydrogen/argon atmosphere.
* Transferred to the cell, protected by a drop of ultra-pure water saturated with these gases.
Comment left by the curator on the published figure Focus on Pt oxidation, surface defects (at steps), and sulfate vs. perchlorate adsorption.
