The Pd(110) electrode was prepared by:
- Pd wire etched in aqua regia, rinsed with Milli-Q water and dried.
- Forming of liquid bead by using an electron beam in a vacuum chamber.
- Polishing of the bead to achieve the desired surface orientation.
- Inductive annealed for 6h at 900 °C in 5N argon.
- 15 min inductive annealing before each measurement.
