tags: BCV

A cyclic voltammogramm for Cu(100) recorded in \(0.1 \; \mathrm{M}\) \(\ce{ NaOH }\) at a scan rate of \(100 \; \mathrm{mV\,s^{-1}}\) from Figure 1b in V. Jović et al. Surface reconstruction during the adsorption/desorption of OH species onto Cu\(111\) and Cu\(100\) in 0.1 M NaOH solution. Journal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 67\(7\):531–546, 2002

Further information

The figure shows digitized data.

The Cu(100) electrode was prepared by:

  • Mechanically polished on fine grade emery papers.
  • Electrochemically polished in a phosphoric acid solution at constant voltage.
  • Thoroughly washed with pure water, cleaned in H2SO4 and washed again with pure water. Preparation reference: http://dx.doi.org/10.2298/JSC0207531J
