A cyclic voltammogramm for Cu(001) recorded in \(0.1 \; \mathrm{M}\) \(\ce{ NaOH }\) at a scan rate of \(20 \; \mathrm{mV\,s^{-1}}\) from Figure 1b in J. Kunze et al. In situ STM study of the anodic oxidation of Cu\(001\) in 0.1 M NaOH. Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, 554:113–125, 2003
Further information
The figure shows digitized data.
The Cu(001) electrode was prepared by:
- Crystals were oriented with X-ray Laue diffraction.
- Mechanically polished with diamond spray to a final 0.25 µm grading.
- Electropolished in 60% ortho-phosphoric acid for 5 min at 1.80 V.
- Subsequently annealed at 1000 K for 16 h in 6N hydrogen at normal pressure. Preparation reference: https://doi.org/10.1016/S0022-0728(03)00115-3
Comment left by the curator on the published figure Below -1.15 V vs SHE the data is cut off by the y-axis.
