The Ir(100) electrode was prepared by:
- High temperature annealing at about 1900°C in a nitrogen-hydrogen atmosphere for 1 min.
- Cool down in the gas stream for 2 min.
- Transferred to the electrochemical cell under protecting gas stream.
- Hanging meniscus configuration.
