A cyclic voltammogramm for Ir(111) recorded in \(0.1 \; \mathrm{M}\) \(\ce{ HClO4 }\) at a scan rate of \(50 \; \mathrm{mV\,s^{-1}}\) from Figure 1b in L.-J. Wan et al. In situ scanning tunneling microscopy of well-defined Ir\(111\) surface: high-resolution imaging of adsorbed sulfate. The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 103\(33\):6978–6983, 1999.
Further information
The figure shows digitized data.
The Ir(111) electrode was prepared by:
- Made out of a molten ball formed at the end of a Ir wire in a hydrogen-oxygen flame.
- Mechanical polishing of the ‘111’ surface.
- For an ordered and clean surface a flame-annealing-quenching technique was used.
- The detailed procedure is described in the source publication.
